• Lauren began her career in market research in 1980. Her comprehensive experience prior to forming Infoco, Inc. in 1992 included hands on experience as a recruiter, as an in-depth interviewer, and as a project manager of both consumer and business-to-business projects. The scope of her work covered in-person and teleconference focus groups, in-person and telephone individual interviews.

• She marshaled that experience to create the screening and respondent confirmation methodology still in use by Infoco. She wrote the recruiting manual, designed Infoco's database, including its past participation tracking system, and has continued making refinements and enhancements to all of Infoco’s systems over the years. One of the greatest results of the methods Lauren developed is Infoco's consistently high show rates of thoroughly qualified respondents.

• Lauren received an MA in Drama from San Francisco State University in 1993; she’s worked in virtually all aspects of theatrical production, including showing some of her original work at two Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. Today she sings with a blues band and paints in oil. When she decided to found Infoco, she focused her creativity on innovations to qualitative research’s traditions. Infoco was the first comprehensive virtual office in the industry, combining internet technology and a nationwide respondent pool to provide clients with lower costs, faster reporting, and built-in field management for an entire project. Lauren continues to make innovative enhancements to Infoco's systems and methods to keep pace with changing technology and client needs.
